What’s a alcohol swab?
Alcohol swab is used to disinfect the skin prior injection in order to prevent infections caused by bacteria on the skin being injected within the tissue.
They are individually packaged pads made of cotton and contain 70% isopropyl, tightly sealed in an aluminium paper bag to keep them sterile and prevent dryness.
It was proven to be a great disinfectant killing 47-91% of the number of bacteria on the skin.
